This Privacy Policy describes how Optical Wholesale ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our B2B ordering portal (the "Portal"). By using the Portal you agree to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

  • Account information: company name, contact name, email address, phone number, and shipping address provided during registration.
  • Order information: products ordered, quantities, and pricing.
  • Authentication data: hashed passwords. We never store passwords in plain text.
  • QuickBooks Online data: with your authorization, we access your QBO customer record and invoice data solely to create and retrieve invoices on your behalf.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process and fulfill your orders.
  • To create invoices in QuickBooks Online on your behalf.
  • To communicate order confirmations and account updates.
  • To maintain and improve the Portal.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. QuickBooks Online Integration

The Portal integrates with Intuit QuickBooks Online via OAuth 2.0. We request only the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope, which is used to:

  • Look up your customer record in QBO.
  • Create invoices when you submit an order.
  • Retrieve your invoice history.

QBO access tokens are stored securely and refreshed automatically. You may revoke access at any time through your Intuit account or by contacting us.

5. Data Retention

Account and order data is retained for as long as your account is active or as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed password storage, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Portal after changes constitutes acceptance.
